Hope everyone had a nice weekend! We’re still recovering from our freak summer flu over here so the weekend was pretty low key for us. Right when we think we’re doing good, someone will wake up nauseous again. You wouldn’t believe how many hours of Netflix we’ve watched over the past 7 days. It’s embarrassing. Yet, also rather impressive..
Somehow, even with being sick, things got a bit more creative in the kitchen around here so I’m excited to show ya’ll!

It’s PB&J – AIP style! Just chop yourself up some pieces of celery, shmear on a thick layer of toasted coconut butter then top with chopped bits of strawberry. It’s *perfect* for breakfast or a snack. The toasted coconut butter was homemade and given to me by my good friend Adam. I’ll be hitting up Pinterest for recipes once my current batch is gone. So so good.
I’ve also heard that Nutiva has a variety of coconut butter. Anyone know if it’s worth buying?
This Chinese Inspired Dumplings recipe just does not get old. I made up a pretty big batch that I’m nearing the end of and I think I’ll make another. The dipping sauce is where it’s at for me. It’s a mixture of apple cider vinegar and coconut aminos. So simple! Yet, dang, it’s mouthwatering.
Knowing the nutritional value in this, I put together a crock pot of beef bone broth, had it simmer for about 18 hours then made the most delicious chuck roast stew for my sick family and me. It had me feeling like a legit holistic healer. Plus, I pulled one on my family because they didn’t even realize they were eating something AIP. 😉 Suckers.
