Those of us with Hypothyroidism (or really any thyroid related disease) truly know what it means to feel like crap. All. The. Time. Feeling stiff, swollen, puffy, tired, foggy, constipated, full of anxiety, dry, dizzy, and just over unhealthy is the worst. It’s absolutely exhausting and no, it’s not all in your head (read my story of Hypothyroidism, causes and a list of symptoms here). It’s funny how life doesn’t show you mercy simply because you’re “having a bad thyroid day.”

Our new puppy named Molly! Isn’t she adorable?! Let me know your potty training tips!! I’ve never trained a dog before. Yikes!

For example, we got a brand new puppy named Molly, I’ve been busy getting our home ready to sell (three offers in the first day! yay!), I’m on the PTO at my daughter’s private school, I now help teach the 1st & 2nd graders at church service on Wednesday evenings, I’m the director of a ministry, am a full time mom and wife plus clean my mother’s home since her disabilities no longer allow her to. Life doesn’t wait. Life doesn’t slow down. Life doesn’t typically care that I don’t feel good.

Can you relate?

No amount of sleep and coffee seems to be able to cut through a hypothyroid level of fog and fatigue, right? On going symptoms sure can make a person feel defeated and drained.

If you do any amount of research, you’ll soon find that foods rich in B-12, Ashwanda, Magnesium, Selenium and Iodine (among others) are great supporters of thyroid health, and it’s encouraging to know there are foods out there that can help balance hormones and rid the body of inflammation, however, if you’re like me, it’s not always easy to regularly consume those foods. For example, I am not a big fan of brazil nuts, sea vegetables and chlorophyll.

Of course, it’s not JUST those foods that provide healthy, natural nutrition for your thyroid. It’s best to adopt an overall Paleo or AIP diet change to truly feel some relief. However, to support your thyroid even further and provide concentrated, specific nutrition, here are the top three BEST SELLING thyroid support supplements available on Amazon.

Interesting article. I have had hypothyroidism for a couple decades now and the only thing I am able to take is pure kelp. I have tried a couple other blends but they dont work. I will have to check these out.

I take thyroid medication and have been looking into slowly coming off of that and going for a more natural approach and while I do that with everything else I was a little scared and finally took the plunge and I love the first supplement because it literally has a lot of the component I have seen help with a healthy thyroid function.
