Healthy morning routines can be a challenging thing to settle in to. Typically, we wake up with a slew of things to get done before racing out the front door and tend to allot very little time to nutrition, if any at all. So when faced with the need to heal, it can feel very foreign to prioritize the time that’s needed for a nutritious meal to take place.
Smoothies are an excellent easy-to-make, easy-to-digest solution to this problem because a whole lot of goodness fits into a regular sized, portable glass. Plus, it gives the opportunity to sneak in a couple supplements and not even taste the difference. A total smoothie win win!
This AIP Morning Smoothie is high in…
- Vitamin C, K, A
Pair all of this smoothie goodness with vitamin c powder and collagen peptides and you’re looking at a morning boost of energy that is so nutritious your body will just soak it right up – a perfect way to start the day! 😀
I’m a firm believer that if the morning starts out right, it’s easier to follow through on the rest of the day. And what better way to do this than with freshly blended smoothie that sets a healing tone for the entire day? I know I can tell a difference with my hypothyroidism when I go a day without it, particularly concerning my energy levels. It’s like the vitamin C just perks me right up and gives me lasting energy. Lord knows we hypos could use some of that!

Drink immediately for a thick smoothie or let rest for 5 minutes for a more melted consistency.
